Am repainting IH 856. Getting PPG paint and it seems nobody in NW Iowa with PPG can come up with the paint code for the white. We're looking at spraying some out from a factory can and then matching it. Would feel more comfortable if someone knew the actual code. Thanks in advance for the help!

That must be one of the "variants" or different shades that you can get with the more expensive paints. I am surprised that it occurs with old tractor colors though-what the dealer has is probably an automotive color, possibly even an International (Navistar) truck color. With PPG Omni or DuPont Nason, etc there is only one color. Ask your question on the Farmall forum on this site or ask on the link below. Ask for either the PPG code or DuPont--someone should be able to help you. I have used only IH 901 which is PPG 8665. Your Case-IH dealer may have 935 -- it will probably be an acrylic modified alkyd enamel, though.

here's a link to Rod(NH) ppgs list that he put together from old ppg books. I myself don't know which white you need but this list should get you closer to what you want.
