i have 1 gallon of case international red enamel , acrylic fortified and it indicates on the can to use thinner 1:8 ratio . what kind of thinner should i use .

any acrylic enamel reducer will work . i have used western ,ppg and dupondt in case-ih paint .

Case/International Makes Their Own Thinner For There Paint, I Use It All The Time. Check With Your Dealer.

Hi Bud,

If it says on the can how much to use, it should also say what to use. There are many different kinds of thinners (reducers) that may or may not be compatible with that paint. If it doesn't say on the label, I'd take it back to where you bought it and ask them. If they don't want to go out on a limb and give a responsible answer, I'd try to get my money back and look elsewhere for paint.
