Cnks, hows that tractor comming? Any pics of the pieces or partial assemblies yet?

Rod, what have you been doing lately, any new projects going?

Ive just been up to my armpits in alligators aound here since the weather broke, kind of feels like I fell of the earth for a month or two. I'm thinking I might start on another SA soon, as soon as things settle down.

Scott,

I finally got to paint my reproduction (sorta) hydraulic lift mechanism for my B sickle mower and brought my front hydraulic lift on the B back from neglect. This is a nice month to paint outside if you can get a decent day because it is pre-bug season. It's usually too cold here though for most of the month. I was fortunate (and ready in advance) to get a nice day around 70F a couple of weeks ago and finally got those parts done. My focus has now shifted to building a closet in the house plus I have a second chimney to tuckpoint around the top and paint, similar to this one I did last fall.

Ken,

I just saw your post here. I replied to your PM this morning with a PM over on the "new" forum. It was my only option since I don't have your email. I hope you received it OK. I personally think the "private messaging" feature of the new (temporary) forum software is cumbersome to use. I suppose the intent is to protect one from spam emails. However, I think the email feature that goes through YT in this old forum provides that function well enough and is easier to use.

Apparantly my 460 is becoming a lifetime experience. Will finish someday, will post pictures then to give an idea why it's taking so long. The next one I do is going to be a Farmall C, a party compared to this one -- I have done one C, so I know what to do on it.

Good to hear from you two and to here things are going normal for you guys. Every time I look at that old SA, I think of all the advice you gave me.

CNKS, knowing how particular you are, when you do get that 460 finished, I am sure it will be nothing short of a masterpiece. And I thought I had it bad with a little SA!

Rod, the way you document the things you have fabricated and accomplished for that B, you ought to publish a little book for that tractor. I bet people would buy it just for ideas. Be careful on that roof and I especially like that old timey pic of you and the B.

Glad to hear everyone is healthy and moving along nicely.

Again, Thanks for all the help you two gave me on the SA. I really like that little thing! I be getting back to you this fall when I start on the other SA for a refresher course.
