I just did some painting yesterday.. bps paints.. specifically th truck / trailer paints...Got a question for you. How long do you need to let paint cure before sanding out a run and re-shooting?

I used hardner.. etc.. Painted a door panel and hood and topper yesterday.. got a run on a couple trim pieces.. so i need to sand them out and reshoot. Allt of the area is seperated by pin stripe.. so no blending needed.

Should be able to the next day -- I haven't used your paint though, which is likely alkyd enamel, I've only tried it with acrylic urethane.

Yep, alkyd, and i used naptha as a thinner.

Thanks for the info. I may try to hit it later today then.. or even wait another day and hit it tomorrow.. ( probably tomorrow.. looks like no time today.)

Thanks for the info.. I was thinking 24 hrs.. but wan't a more experienced opinion.
