Good bit of work in this one. Just surfacer, not sanded yet. Still too cold to topcoat here, maybe next week. Thanks Guys

Did you use body filler? How many (sanded) applications of surfacer?

Yep, used filler 2 times. Left the screen in, just couldn't get those clips off without butchering the grill. Used fingers for spreading filler on the spars and then did the top and sides. I sprayed 2 coats of surfacer in 40 degrees and took it inside quickly. Had to keep a broad pattern (high air flow) with a light material flow and go very slow and make multiple passes for good coverage in that temp. It tried to orangepeal on me at first till I figured it out.

Thanks CNKS,

Rod, I put another pic in bits and pieces. Can you work your magic?

Here it is:

What you did wrong in the linking before was to link to the entire page in the parts and pieces gallery and not the individual picture. Since the entire page is not a picture file, you wind up getting the red x. When in the image gallery, you should right click when your cursor is directly on the picture itself and select "properties" from the menu that results. That will give you the address of just the picture, among other things. The address will begin with Link and end with a picture file extension, usually .jpg. That particular character string is the one that goes in the space provided below your post box, titled "Optional Image URL" (or between the quotation marks if you are doing your own html coding with the img src tag). You can select that string while in the "properties" dialog box, copy it to the clipboard and paste it into the "Optional Image URL" space (or between the quotation marks if doing html). Note that you have to do your own html coding to put multiple pictures in a single post like this one, unless the pictures are combined into a single file with an image processing program beforehand. You can do a single picture without any coding by making use of that "Optional Image URL" space provided by this site.

Thanks Rod, that sounds easy enough, now if I can just remember. I'll bookmark this post for future reference on pic posting.

Thanks again,

Looks good Scott. I can appreciate the effort it took.

Make sure you fully use the preview pane before you finally post. If your picture link doesn't work there, it won't in your post. If the picture doesn't show in preview, you can easily just back up, make any changes, and try again as many times as it takes.

Thanks Rod, I just hope it endures. I have still to figure the picture thing out on this forum. I should post another picture, framed the way the before pic is.
