I recently bought property with part of an old, small tractor. There is a aluminum "toolbox" mounted on it, with the letters "Livingston Tractor Company, Tulsa, Oklahoma" I have had thoughts of trying to restore the thing, but cannot even find any record of the company. Can anyone help me out?

I have a LIVY tractor that is fairly complete. My grandson and I have fixed it up and show it on occasions in some parades etc. I would be interested in your machine if you are in the OK. area. I could also send you some pictures of mine if you give me an address. I know of three of these front wheel drive, center steering tractors that are fixed up.

I would like to know if this tractor says Livingston down the side of it. I have seen a tractor that says Livingston on the side and nobody believes me. Is there some pictures you could send me via internet or any information on them online? Is it an Allis Chalmers that has Livingston painted down the side for some reason. Please let me know.!

The only tractor I know of they made was a 5hp. Garden tractor from 1950 - 1955 and it was a walk behind tractor. Does this one sound like yours?? Jonathan.....

This is defininitely a rider. There is not much left of it, but it has an aluminum seat and steering wheel. Someone has put car wheels on it (only 2) and the motor has been removed. The transmission appears to be intact. There are levers on either side of the seat, presumably to adjust the height of the implements, Etc. I would really like to know what the thing looked like, but have had no luck. I'd like to find some parts, or possibly another, more complete specimen that I could use my parts with. Do you have any idea where I might find a photo of one of these? Also, do you know if the Livingston Company is still in existence, possibly with a different name now?
I appreciate the information you have provided. I can at least assume that the company was around in the 1950's, which is more than I knew before.
Thanks again.
