I was wondering just how many Model V Avery's were constructed. I have a student who recently found an old Avery and it was given to him for free. It is a straight and complete tractor, Here's the kicker, the tractor has been sitting the last 30 years without the head on the block. Locked up tight. I haven't looked for a S/N just yet, but he told me that it does have the tag still. But, I was wondering just how many of these oddballs were constructed. Last year, this student restored a 1949 Farmall Cub and this year he was looking for something a little more challenging, I think we found a winner.

The tag is probably the Hercules engine tag, look on the right frame rail about even with the air cleaner, should have the s/n stamped in the rail there. Know where you can get a complete tractor ,not stuck, needs manifold, located in Georgia, even has an Avery owners manual, it is in bad need of restoration, but 95% complete if you need one bad enough let me know by e-mail will give address.

The V was made from 46-52 not sure how many. But less then the cub. Parts are not to hard to get.It will have a hercules engine. Some parts can be bought at Napa or carquest. The serial # will be on the right side frame rail close to the hydralic pump. John (FFA class of 89)
