my name is troy. I have one from the 50's with dual rear wheels and a ford straight 6. I am looking for a few parts for mine. I would like to fix mine up and paint it someday. It still works very hard on our farm hauling wood and mowing. I have all the mowers and ended up with a few extra in the purchase. It has been a time saver because of the almost 11' cut, and we mow a fair amount. I would like to chat with you to find out more about yours. Mine is the toro general. The other model at the time was the bullet. My manual explains the difference. I have had no luck in my research of the history. Toro told me that they no longer had any info and ford had no record of the serial number. thank you have a good day.

Rob,
I have a TORO "Suburban Tractor" built around 1966
or 1967. It runs good & I have all history of this unit. Toro has told me that it is #37 to be built. The model number is 55300, serial number is
55300-700038. I would like to either restore this
tractor or sell it to some one else that would. If
you can help or are interested, please E-mail me.

Thanks, Brian

Are you the famous Senator Swartzlander from the Bloomsburg area?
