I have the chance to buy 2 Earthmaster tractors for $900. One is complete with all the sheet metal, but it does not run. The engine is not stuck. The second is a little more rough with a stuck engine. The deal includes the right and left plows and a cultivator. Would you buy these? Or is this too much money? Do the Earthmaster tractors have any resale value? Thanks for any replies.

I'm currently restoring an earthmaster model c just about done with it. The price sounds fair to maybe a little high depending on condition. I know of 2 for sale for 500.00 for the pair and a cpuple of others in that range. As far as the resale value the seem to not bring very much money. Last one I saw restored with new tires, the gut was trying to get 1350.00 and was not having any luck. Personaly I like the tractors, they have some problems with the frames braking.
I have started a list of earthmaster owners, model, serial # and location. Would love to find more about these 2. Where are they located?

If you are paying $900.00 for the both of them, it sounds fair to me. The value of these tractors is to those individuals who restore tractors as a hobby for show. No farmer would place his future on the reliability of these units. Plus their true work efficiency is limited by their age and availability of spare parts. A restored Earthmaster in operating condition would bring around $1400.00.
