Looking for information on Leader Tractors that were built in Chipawa, Ohio. Early 50's. Any information would greatly be apprieciated.

Tractor is a Leader 1XB5 Hercules Engine Ser. # 24126 29 Made Chagrin Falls, Ohio

Tractor did run and am looking for information on restoring.

Leader was one of the many companies that entered the tractor business shortly after WW2. They were in essence built off the shelf with readily available components, though they were better than most. As a 1-2 plow tractor and weighing about 2500#, they were ideal for truck farms.

I have owned 2 and there are still a number of them here in Virginia.
