We have Nuffield 460 and we are having starter/battery problems
We lost our manual so we have no reference. How are
the batteries supposed to be hooked together for 6
volts? Any place we can get parts? Should we convert
to 12 volt and how?

Eldon

Nuffield 4/60's were twelve volt systems. Do not know of any six volt ones. Perhaps someone has used two six volt batteries instead of one twelve volt. In this case they should be joined + to earth, - to + on second battery, second battery - to starter solenoid. Regards Brian

Thanks, at least we know how to hook up the batteries
now. So I can check up on the starter now.
Thanks again.
