Hi there , I have a Empire T106 it is made completely of cast iron , it has 16 in. rubber tractor tires and wooden handles. The Eng. is a Briggs & Straton Model "B" which was made in 1939 it is 2 3/4 HP .On the front of the engine there is a place to put the starter crank and on the left side theres a decompression linkage. As far as I know Empire made 3 models and the T106 is the middle one , the largest being a 6 HP model. The restoration I'm doing is about half done but I am having trouble like you are finding information, do you have any pictures of yours that I can see ?

Hi Robert , I have a Empire Walk-behind Tractor model T106 (# casted into wheel hubs) it was made in Windsor , Ontario , Canada in 1939 ( found the date by sending the Eng. Serial # and model to the Briggs & Straton site) .Mine was sitting in a barn for 20 yrs before I brought it home to restore it I'm about half done. I would love to see any pictures you have of yours. Mine has wooden handles, does yours?
