have a walsh on rubber looks to be in 20s serial number 500d2793 can any one tell me more info like year etc

You can find more info at the link below. Walsh tractors were available on steel wheels or optional rubber tires. Even though the design is primite, by the serial number, your tractor is a 1950 model.

thank you my welch is the single cylinder engine does not look like anything ive seen made in 50s sure would like to know more about this tractor would love to buy a book on welsh tractors

I have some literature from Standard Tractors of Minneapolis who consolidated with Walsh and rated this tractor at 2.5 HP and sold it with a 7" plow. I don't know too much about them but the picture I have shows a single cylinder unit on steel wheels with a the gas tank mounted inline on the top. It has a cultivator like the Standard Monarch. The Price sheet I have is from 1948 and lists it at $235.00

we want to find out more about the engine parts of a standard walsh single cylinder walk behind tractor. the trator number is: 408D2331.
