PowerKing 1212 wiring diagram?/ No spark

Does anyone happen to have a wiring diagram for a PowerKing 1212 or a model close enough that I can troubleshoot from it?

I"m not getting any spark. New plug, points and condensor. Been quite awhile since I"ve worked with a points based system and I forget what voltages should be where.

The lead to the points should have 12 volts, right? I"m getting ready to check that. What about voltages at the coil.

Thanks, David

Does your engine have an auto type coil or an armature? The auto type coil needs battery voltage and you can check voltage at your coil with a volt meter or test lite. Your ignition switch needs to be on. With the points open you should have voltage on both small terminals on the coil. If there's no voltage present you need to check the ignition switch for voltage. There should be wire that's feeding battery voltage to the switch check that for voltage. If you have voltage feeding the switch and no voltage out, you probably need a new switch. An armature (coil) doesn't require battery voltage since the magnets create voltage as they pass by the armature or electronic module. I would rub those new points lightly with some 320 wet or dry then take a cotton swab dipped in alcohol and clean the new points. Hal

It is a battery system.

I got it going. It was either the points were set too wide or a loose condensor wire.

Thanks!
