I saw an old picture of a ROCKEL tractor and would like further info. Picture was taken in Barhead Alberta Canada by Peter Lawrence in 2000

Any leads?

Sorry; should've asked if you were familiar with running the archives here....they're extensive, and we all owe the site our thanks for keeping so much back info....
Now, that being said, it's also true that you need to just kind of rummage through various pages at random, to kinda get used to the format, which can be...surprising...at times, like : don't quit at the first alphabetical set you find, and so on...Good luck.

Run the archives here and you'll find more info then you'll know what to do with, LOL...
Briefly, ROCKOL was a Canadian name (along with Regal and Norseman) for the Custom, which was the successor to the original CO-OP and Farmers Union CO-OP #2 and #3 of the mid-late 30's and 40's...
When the farmers cooperatives gave up production, Custom continued the design, selling some as Customs and some as Wards (not the twin row), Jumbo AKA Simpsons Jumbo, Lehr Big Boy. Jacob Love built some of the basic design, and Dave Friday; Amos Ostenburg (Osterberg?) as OMC's, and a couple guys named Closson and Wilson, and probably more I've forgotten. Fascinating story.
