my 445 fills up the oilpan with fuel after about 5hrs of use(maybe longer).i drained the oil and pressed the lift pump and had fuel come out of the drain plug. my question is this. could it be the front seal in the injection pump or injectors? my lift pump is new. i had this problem before the lift pump was replaced. if it is the inj pump, any suggestions on removal as to not lose the timing position. thanks

It can be either pump. The new lift pump may have a leak too. I'd take the line off going to the filters and try pumping it in a container. May have to plug the line for pressure to build up to see if it's leaking with the oil pan plug out. I'd pull the injector pump as a last resort and if I didn't see any fuel after isolating the lift pump. Let us know what you find.

Been hearing of fuel leaks on Longs since the ultra low sulfur fuel came out. More so than in the past. May be coincidence but have seen more posting of leak problems in the fuel system. Several with leaking around the fuel shutoff pivot on the injector pump. I've been adding Lucas or Amsoil fuel treatment and haven't seen any yet. My fuel supplier delivered a mixture of low sulfur and ultra low sulfur. Next load was low sulfur. If you don't ask you don't know what you're getting and may not even when you ask. LOL Suppose to fill my tank tomorrow and hope I'm around when the truck comes and I'll ask. I'm sure we're getting close on all ultra low for off road fuel now if not already switched over. All I know is the price and that stinks. LOL $2.71 for offroad.

Was loooking at Long fuel leak problems and saw your reply about more enjector pump leaks. Have noticed same leaks around shut-off shaft on injector pump on my 460 tractor. I also think the low sulfer fuel may be causing the seal/o-ring to fail. Do you know the part number of replacement seals?? Don't think the Amsoil treatment will stop my leak, but will try it. Thanks..

Hey, on a different subject. I'm looking to buy a Long 460. Does anybody know the overall width of this tractor?
