The original subject was "Ferret tractor".

I bought one in Boise, Idaho for $800 and brought it home to my little ranch in Heber, Utah. I started it yesterday using starter fluid but it had fuel problems so I gunked the carburator and found out that the float valve was missing so I'm in the process of trying to find a new float valve or get a new carbuerator. I want to weld together a small "Tank" body so my grandkids can have fun with it. Jon

Unless that has an unusual float, floats generally just control fuel level in the carb by rising with the fuel, with a tab on the float pushing the needle valve (gas inlet ) closed...that's a long winded way of saying probably any float that fits the mount in the bowl, with a tab that can be bent to close the inlet, should work, assuming replacements hard to find.
