Looking for information on what I believe to be a 1946-1948 shaw rs with a briggs 11 or 12hp #14fs engine. The tractor sits pretty high for its short and narrow size. I have the plow that attaches to the underbelly manual lift and to the rear drawbar manual lift. The tractor runs pretty good and seems to be in average condition for its age. I have searched e-bay and many other tractor web sights with very little information found so far. I just purchased at Portland Indiana swap and sell. The tractor came from south east Ohio. Any sources of information and attachments would be appreciated. Thanks

Wow, i'm shocked to see other Shaw Du-All owners. my Dad purchased a nice early 40's R-6 about 20 years ago and we just now starting running it around. i've been contemplating a full resto, and found info is limited. i plan to contact Mr. Bridgford and subscribe to newsletter, just to hopefully find out correct color and type of air breather used. that's only piece missing, but it leaves a big hole in grill & hood. i'm happy to share any info about this particular tractor.

There is a Shaw Du-All collectors club, and also a Shaw tractor festival every year in the town where they were made at Galesburg, Kansas.

I collect Shaws and have some of the orig. Shaw paperwork. My R12 was made 1950 and has a Wisconsin 2 cyl. engine. My R8 is also a 1950 with a Briggs one-cylinder engine. Also have an R7 made 1949 and an HY8 made in 1942.

You should post a picture of the tractor. Hal
