I'm not sure if there was more than one OMC, but there's a piece in the gasenginemagazine.com archives about an OMC line built by F. Amos Ostenberg, a partner in Ostenberg Motor Parts Co., Salina, KS. He built a relative handful (50-60 or so) of tractors, some (or all) on a frame of his own design, beginning in 1939, some of which were a continuation of the Chrysler Cptn mechanical gear CO-OP, Custom, Lehr, Wards, Jumbo, Simpsons Jumbo, Love, friday, OMC, Closson-Wilson, Norseman, Rockol, Regal line. The info comes from a Salina, KS, newspaper piece, and says the "plant" burned in 1954 or so. Just punch up gasenginemagazine.com and search OMC or Amos ostenberg. Good luck.

Yes they are rare. They were made by a large farm equipment dealer in the winter when they needed work to keep the employes busy.I think they only made 6 to 8 a year. They bought the major parts like engine, trans, radiator and fit them together.
