I have a 1949 model 42 Silverking seriel # 8371, looking for rear axle seals. Outer gasket is felt material, inner gasket is rubber and is held in place by a circular spring. All the silverkings i have seen are silver and red. This one is a light shade of green. Is this a factory color? If so, what is the paint code? It seems to be original paint. What are the paint codes of the silver and red?

I found a SilverKing web site by clicking on Keyword and typing in Silverking tractors. A lot of tractor pictures too. I only found one silver
paint code for PPG paint 33442. Red is 71310.
None listed for Silver King. Hal

The company would paint your tractor what ever color you wanted, just order it that way. The paint codes listed for silverkings i think is wrong. It is a ford color that has an orange tint to it. Silverking actually mixed aluminum oxide themselves and the paint varied. Mine was strait aluminum in covered areas so i mixed a can of grey and a can of silver aluminum and it looked real close.
