The largest family owned tractor company in the world. SAMEDeutz-Fahr is their name today. SAME bought Lamborghini and Hurlimann in the 60s and Deutz-Fahr in 1996. Best known for their O&V tractors in Europe. FarmTrac is selling badge-engineered SAME Tractors these days. Deutz-Fahr is the only name available currently in North America of the four brands. AGCO has used, and still uses bade-engineered SAME Tractors.

It's built in Italy, and is air-cooled. The injector pump runs off the camshaft so it doesn't have to be timed to remove and install it. In the early '80s I worked at a garage and my boss took on the SAME line. It's been a few years, and we didn't do very much maintenance on them (they didn't break and were mostly new) so I can't tell you a whole lot. E-mail is open if I can be of more help.

Built in Italy, somewhere along the line they merged with Lamboughini, or one bought the other out...
