Long 560 fuel

I've got a Long 560 that died out while harrowing as if it ran out of fuel. I replaced both fuel filters, reprimed, then pulled it to get it running, with success.

15 minutes later, while harrowing, it died the same way (sideways across the field entrance gate, of course).

I haven't opened up the primer pump - is it from the top (remove the rubber piece)?

Any other places to look before draining the tank?

Thanks in advance - Sam.

Fixed the fuel problem - gunch in the inlet to the primer pump.

Now I've got a leak where the coolant manifold bolts to the head. This is good news, in a way, because it had been weeping there but I had suspected a cracked head.
