Would like any information available on a crosley tractor. I have found only 1 picture and it was called a prototype.

One of the issues of the Crosley Club magazine had an article about it in the past year. You might be able to track it down. This was not the usual Farm-O-Road type.

talk to Marion Thompson in Aledo Il. thay had one at the antique and garden tractor show in Iowa last July, i looked at it and it is built just as any other conventional tractor, just extremely rare, so if you have one gaurd it,only a handful are known to exist, good luck STEVE

Crosley sold the "Farm-O-Road" combination vehicle, marketed as a tractor, truck, power-plant, and road vehicle all in one - 1950-1951. It has front and rear PTOs and hitches. When I was a kid, there were homemade tractors all over the godd*m place, made with mostly Crosley parts with perhaps a few Ford Model A parts. I collect Crosley powered boats. The Crosley car engine was used in outboards under the names of Fisher-Pierce Bearcat, and Homelite.

I saw one of those at Rudin's Old time Farm
Days in Newark Valley NY last year, I believe it had a mowing machine mounted on it. Looked like the picture on the website Dean mentioned.

The following website has a brief description of a Crosley dual purpose farm/road vehicle.

I'm not certain whether this is the tractor that you are speaking of or not but my neighbor has a small tractor with a Crosley OHC engine and transmission in it. I believe that it was made in Ohio. I cannot remember the name at this time but Fairfax or something similar comes to mind. I could find out if this is the right tractor.

Vaguely remember reading about one once I think. Wasn't a multi-purpose vehicle for mowing, light plowing and driving on the road,. Been a long time now.
