Anyone know a good salvage yard or such that handles Deutz?? We're hunting for one of the large cube engine such as was used in the 160-06 or newer tractors, just a rebuilder. If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated!!

Are you wanting a V8?? Or the big 6cyl Deutz produced? Direct or indirect injected? For pulling? Duetz had a 6L 514 500+ Cubes stock.
The later 6 cylinder engines as in the 80 - 130 hp engines from late 1950s -1980s are all less than 400 cubes. such as 6L812 - 6l912/913
Maybe i can help you?

Larry W , A 160-06 used a BF8/413 V8 engine ,160-06 are very few (only 6 in USA). Best bet is to try a mid 80s to early 90s gleaner combine in a junk yard for a 513 V8 ,a newer model engine in a N7
