I have an old Oliver tractor that I would appreciate help in identifying. Description:
overall body shape similar to Oliver "Super 55" but with spoke wheels front and back like the Oliver 28-44. Tires front and back are rubber.
Wide front wheel base. No rear fenders. Platform at rear extents just beyond rear tires.
Steering wheel and metal seat offset on right side of tractor. I have a couple of photos of the tractor.

Thanks for the reply. I"ll check for a serial number this weekend - where is that number located on the tractor and what kind (length) of number should I be looking for?

Where the serial number is located is different on different tractors.

The 18-28 number is the same place as the 28-44. That number will be on a plate on the right side of the engine, near the back, just below the head.

You mentioned the super 55, and if that is what you have, the serial number plate is on the transmission just below the clutch pedal.

There are other locations for other tractors. If you can be more specific about your tractor model then I could tell you.

Thanks for the reply. I have 3 pictures of the tractor ready to email. Would there be an email address available? - I don't think I can send attachments to emails in this forum.

Dave, "A picture is worth a thousand words" as someone said years ago.

Oliver did make a tractor that was smaller than the 28-44. It was called the 18-28.

Maybe if you have a serial number we can figure out what tractor it is.
