Howdy,

I"m wondering what you folks think about Speedex tractors, expecially the model 1632. Solid? Tough? Good drive train? Dependable? Easy to maintain? Parts availability? And so on. Any and all info is appreciated. I"m eyeballing a rough-looking specimen at the moment, thinking about maybe picking it up.

I have 2 Economy Power Kings and 1 Economy Jim Dandy, and they are nice machines. Those are all gear drive and I"m wondering about the belt drive system that Speedex uses. How good is it?

Also I have in mind possibly trying to scavenge the 3-point hitch and hydraulics from the Speedex and put them on my '67 Power King, because I often wish I had those things on that PK. Anyone have experience doing this or a similar project?

Thanks!

- Russ
