I have been looking at a 1964 Nuffield Tractor. The plate on the frame beside the motor says the model # is 4/65. The man told me it is a 68 hp diesel. He said it is an older model Long tractor but the plate says Nuffield. What is this tractor? Is there such a thing? Is it really a Long tractor? What hp is it and where can I find parts?

Nuffields and Leylands were both imported and sold by Long.

Hello,
I'm looking for a mini Nuffield tractor for a good friend.
He has 250 different miniatur tractors.
He is dying, and he says " The only tractor I'm missing is a Nuffield.
This was a tractor in the 50' and 60' in Holland very popular.
Is there anybody who can help me finding such a minitractor?

Nuffields were produced after WW2 in the UK. Leyland took over in the late 1960s.
The 4/65 [4 cyl 65hp] came out in 1967 & was only produced for a couple of years.
Hope this helps.
