I need a carb for the above engine. It's the type that has the cone shaped govenor controlled by a clock type coil spring. Spring and butterfly housing on mine is damaged beyond repair. Also let me know if you know of a subsitute.
Engine is powering a Gifford Wood Ice Saw when it runs.
Thanks in advance.
Nels

Nelson, I have a home movie of the last filling of an
ice house in north jersey . The ice saw used to
cut the floats and score it for cubes had a leroy engine on it , but I don't know what brand
the saw was. The last filling of the ice house was in 46 or 47 . If your housing is a casting , send me a picture
of the damage and there is a good possibility that
I can repair it. I do oxy/acetylene cast iron
welding not arc welding. Link below will get you
to my web site and in it there is a link to some
cast iron repair and also my email addy.
