Glenn I have went through all my Huber records several times and can't come up with that engine number. I find several entries thay show "motor replacement" but don't list the new engine number. I find several engine numbers that come within one or two numders of yours (269420,269417 etc) that all were installed in 1931. I wonder if yours couldn't have had the engine replaced at the factory and the new number just not recorded. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

That engine from the head down is very similar to an Oliver 90. Find me on the www,hartparroliver.org site. I have some questions about that engine.

Glenn the serial number should be stamped on a sheet metal plate riveted, most likely, to the fender. If you can check on the engie for the engine serial numder I may be able to track down the year and model from that. I would guess from the engine size you have a model 20-36 and would have had a Zenith 1 1/4" carb. If you can send me any more numbers I will try to help you out.

I just purchased a Huber tractor. Its on full steel with the old Stearns engine. There is a serial number on the the tractor on a plate attached to a steel support bracket underneath the steering wheel. I was wondering if there was a way to find out what size or model and year. I was told it is a 1927 and says Huber 1836 on the rear of the fenders. any help is appreciated.

Jaydee this is what I found: Sold June of 1926
the engine number is 266184. The engine is a Stearns 4 3/4 bore and 6 1/2 stroke with a Kingston made carb and governor. The mag was made by Eisemann. What you have is a 1926 Huber Super Four model 18-36. Sounds like you got a good one!

I have a Huber model L that is missing the serial no. plate. The engine (Waukesha VIK21F) number is 444924. Can you tell when it was made and what serial number went with that engine? Thanks

Your serial number should be 13706 and it was built 6/18/1939. There was also a note "12 mph" which I would guess means it has a road gear.
