Does anyone know if anyone is making these strange looking seals for a model 42 Silver King (3 wheeler)
I took one side apart tonight and got a sinking feeling cause I know that I ain't going to find anything like it unless I can try to make something up myself.
Thanks for any help
Jason

Jason I know the seals your looking for. I got mine from a guy named Rick Horning. If I remember correctly his father was a Silver King dealer. He makes the seals himself and they fit like the originals. I'm not sure he would want his phone number posted on here ,so drop me an e-mail and I will give it to you.

There are 2 silverking sites were you can ask about this. one site is on MSN.There is someone makeing them. You can make a replacement by useing gas line hose and sliting it so you can put the spring inside. Its alittle thicker than the leather but will work in a pinch.

Thanks Larry for the help. I'll see if I can find the ones being made, but I was also thinking of ways to maybe make my own. The rubber gas hose sounds like a pretty good idea.

Can you post a picture of what type of seal you're talking about?
