Try NAPA for carb parts possibly, or one of the on line carb repair services like maybe Robert's or Denny's. On the fan hub, take it off and take the hub off the fan by removing the ring of small screws and square headed nuts. holding the shaft in a padded or soft jaw vise, look for a locking tab on the shaft nut. straighten the tab carefully, so you can reuse it, remove the nut and washer(s), be sure and don't lose the brass thrust washer,, you can't buy them seperately. Remove the hub, turn it around and look at the felt seal/packing in a groove at the rear, pull this out. Then wash out all old grease and gook out of hub and groove, and also wash all the other parts and let them dry. Get some thin felt from a sewing or craft store and cut you some small strips, I used 1/4 " wide for my fan hub, and then pack them in the groove in the rear of hub. They need to fill the groove tightly and evenly and cause a very slight drag when you turn hub on shaft to work good. Reassemble the fan hub on the shaft that has been lightly oiled. Then install the lightly oiled thrust washer and lock tab and nu. Then tighten the nut till you feel a very slight drag on the hub and then back off till the nut lock can be engaged, do not back off over 1/4 turn, more than that amount will make hube have too much end to end loose motion. Then be suure you lock the nut with the locking tab. I made the gasket for mine from a piece of 1/8" thick cork paper I got from NAPA store. The instruction on oiling the fan say to turn it horizontal and fill with a small amount of engine oil. Too much oil will make it sling out the rear by the felt packing. I know this is long winded, but that's how I repaired the fan on 2 Earthmasters with this same sort of set up. Gene Davis
