I also have purchased a tractor that I am not sure which of the two it is..I cant seem to find any type of serial number on the frame rail where I was told to look, the only number that I do have is on the motor and it is 2454888, does this indicate anything? The underneath color seems to be a yellow with the top coat being a red..If the number on the motor doesnt mean anything is there another avenue to look at? thanks

There is quite a bit of difference between an Avery A or R and a Moline B. F. Does your tractor have hydraulics, if so describe them a little more. Also if it only has 3 speeds forward it is an Avery R.

Sam, a picture here is the "best" way to identify old iron.In many cases rust ,grease, paint and weather covers many clues but a pic will get much results. Try it. If it's a "BLUE" I want to talk to you. GRIN !
