I'm looking at purchasing a 1950 Tractair 105. Clean machine, looks good, but needs an alternator. The machine does not have the original with it for me to try to match. What can I use to replace this alternator without modification?

Also, this will be my 1st tractor so I'm new at all of this. I didn't notice a 3pt hitch or PTO at the rear, but it could have eluded me. A toolbox is mounted and is blocking the view in the pics I took. Do you know whether I could attach a standard 3pt backhoe to this tractor? What kinds of modificaton would be necessary? Could I hook it up to the front loader, in place of the bucket?

It had a generator on it and would have to be changed for an alternator. If you want a tractor to use you should buy something else!Parts and people who can repair this tractor are very hard to find.Tractairs have a mounted air compresser and preasure tanks with make mounting other things hard. There is fellow who has a website all about em.
