An antique tractor friend, loydearles@aol.com, recently bought this John Blue tractor (very similar to Allis G except 20 years newer, 10% larger, blue, etc). Loyd is interested in developing a list of current John Blue tractor owners. Less than 100 tractors were produced one year in the mid 1970's, as remembered by one of todays management.

I posted a picture in the Tractor Section

Those tractors were made here in the Huntsville/Madison area of northern Alabama. I went by their factory about every day and saw them sitting in the yard awaiting shipment. One day the all disappeard and when I ask around was told that Allis Chalmers filed a law suit against John Blue as the were made from the drawings of the Allis "G" and were taken off the market. Where they went I don't know but I would liked to have had one. Can anyone expand on this thread?

I have been told that the engine is actually a Farmall Cub. If, so the model and serial number is on the side of the block sort of behind the carburetor.
