Has anyone removed a final drive on a Huber L. I have removed all of the bolts around the perimeter of the housing along with the nut and bearing retainer on the axle shaft that goes into the differential. The housing still does not want to come off. What am I missing?

Good luck! I struggled with that for months. You"re brake drum is probably holding you up. The problem is that you can"t just slide the axle through the brake drum. I tried a million different ways but in the end I ended up with 2 brake drums each broken neatly in half. I tore the final drives completely apart and couldn"t figure it out. It comes apart and goes together nice without the brake drum in there. I ended up putting it all back together and then bolted the brake drum back onto the axle. Works fine, haven"t had any problems. If you search for Huber in the tractor picture section of this site, you"ll see my L with the final drive torn apart. Feel free to email me with any other questions.
