I looked at filter(clean)Changed the Hyd oil Again(is there a certain weight of hyd oil to use? I used universal trans/hyd oil.I took the pumps off, they appear in good condition. The resivoir tube is clear no blockages, I looked at the plug under the seat with the strong spring/with the stop ball and the other plug with the piston looking part/with spring inside, all is clean! Is there anywhere on this tractor Where the system can suck air or make it in the system! I loosened a line at the loader spool valve it let out air then fluid. Presto I had Hyd. again... Mowed for 15 min. Then no hyd. again. Can this system heat up and break down. Help????? ?Thanks in Advance!

If the hyd. filter has been in service for a long time it should be replaced. Varnish builds up on the filter. It may look clean but it is stopped up just enough to cause oil to foam. Next time your hyds fail look at your oil check gauge and see if shows signs of the oil foaming

Click HERE for the probable cause and effect--and solution--to your problem.

(go to the "Hydraulics" paragraph; the same applies to your UTB-built Long tractor as to the Fiat ones.
