Hello All,

I have an older machine that I believe has water in the hydraulich system. The system holds 17 Gallons of fluid and I would hate to have to drain the entire system if I do not have to. Any suggestions on any additives that can be added which would dry up any water in the system? Sort of like what they make for gas tanks (dry gas).

Thanks for any replies

Don

There is nothing to do but change it,just think of it as giving the ole girl a treat. If it is stored outside, the sun heats up the tank, and when it cools condensation occurs. Multiply this happening daily.

I have a Kabota and the boot around the gear shift was catching water when it rained. draining was the only way I could fix.

To my knowledge there is nothing to do but drain it. I got water in my Long's hydro fluid and actually called a shop about the same thing. Luckly my tractor only held about twelve gallons but still. If it helps think of it as maintance and there for it needs to be done. Sorry I was not more help.
