old tractor (co-op?)

came into possession of this old tractor, wheels in front are real close together but wheels in back are big-it says "CO-OP" on front grill....not sure if it works/probably not...how do i know what it is? please help if possible..

Hi Sheila,
There is a good possibility that it is a Co-op E3 tractor.
Does it have: rounded front nose? 4 cylinder overhead valve engine? cast steel engine tub frame?
The tractor serial number is stamped/punched into the top ledge of the tub frame between the engine oil dipstick and the radiator. The first numbers will be 47,48,49 or nothing, space, 30, space, a serial number from 101 to 50200.

I went to Ebay and looked it up. Cockshutt came up. They have a discussion here on this site. Try them.
