Fist i would check to see if gas got in the diesel . If there is no gas present then the fuel rail is probaly stuck. To free the fuel rail take off the cover on the side of the pump . The cover has two bolts . Spay everthing down with penatrating oil and let soak . Next push in the shut off lever . take a big screw driver and gently but firmly work the rail until it frees up . You may have to also work the excess fuel button in and out to help get the rail loose . thats the button on the arm that turns the pump on and off. After the the rail is free drain the pump . the drain plug is on the bottom of the pump in the front it takes a seven sixteens wrench . Some times it helps to take off the outer nut that holds the pump on to get more room . You can fill the pump through the level hole on the side of the pump with engine oil . It takes a little over one oil can . change pump oil every time you change the engine . If this doest not work it is time to see the pump doctor . Hope this helps.
