needing information on a 510 Long Tractor. The 3 point hitch lift works good but when something is raised up the lift will not stay in the top position. It lowers about 4 inches and then raises back to the top.Almost like it is hiccuping.any information to correct this problem would be appreciated.thanks

Hey Bruce!
If you find your problem, tell me, I have the same problem on our tractor.

If you lift a load all the way to the top and shut tractor off and if the load only drop part way and stop. First item to check is the drop control lever under the seat on the right side. Turn lever counter clockwise till it hits the stop. If a change is noted in the hiccup but hasn't stopped, loosen the small nut on the lever just enough to turn past the stop. Turn one more turn. If no change in problem, you may have a leaking or seized dump valve. Located in the bottom of the hyd. head.

If load drops all the way down when tractor is shut off, one of two orings seals is probably leaking. One is the piston seal, the other is the cylinder head seal.
