if my memory serves me right this was the end result of the white takeover.
these were the end of the line "MODIFIED" versions.
they went so far as to 'consider' green/white on the new style tractors that they introduced, it didnt fly.
white was hell bent on destroying an icon.
oliver started playing color games with the 1955 super series when they did away with the red wheels.
you may have noticed, big john has maintained their colors and they are still in existance, by hook/crook.
i will go to my grave believing that 'john' had a direct hand in the demise of oliver.
if you cant run with the big dogs? put them out of bussiness.
dollar per horsepower? oliver was a very big thorn in big johns foot.

Great pictures. They look very nice. They would look even better painted Oliver green. Thanks for the pictures.

No one has guessed a model yet. It don't help that there is an air compresser on the side faceing the camera. They appear to have wheatland front axels and the intake and exhaust are close together so 1655 wheatland?

I think the frame looks too wide for a 1655, looks more like a 2255 or 2-135 front tub.

The muffler is about the size of the lights so it can't be a large engine tractor. The wheatland tractors have wider frames.

I like that a lot! I always thought a 55 series grille would look better on my 2-135. Now I KNOW it would.

Great pictures, where did you get them? I think I saw a picture on the HPOCA website from a show last summer or sometime of one of those tractors, and I think it might have been for sale. Anyway, wonderfull picture, would sure like to see more!

One was at the Dover Ohio show last year. I think maibach tractor is the owner, not sure. The tractors are made from left overs for use in the yard.

I would have to gess it was a combination of 1755 and a 2-105 becous the the sheet metal is off a 55 serise in the back it drops down so you cant see threw under the gas tank and the air breather is in front of the small exaust pipe and it looks like there is a gas intake manafold on there
