Growing up on our dairy farm we had several Olivers dad bought new. I was pretty young but I distinctly remember shade difference in paint. We had an 880 D I think 59 or 60 and then in 62 dad bought 3 tractors all gassers 660, 770, and another 880.Am I crazy or did those later tractors have a lighter color ? sure wish I had those babies now. We sold out in the early 70's

PPG has 3 paint codes for Oliver tractors don't know if any are light green, here are the codes.
You can look at paint chips to see the colors. All these codes can be crossed-referenced to Martin Senour or Dupont. Hal

I think they had a mist green 880 which I think I have and my other one is a darker green.

I would like to hear from somebody who painted at the factory or knows for sure but we had the same kind of thing .Dad bought numerous new Olivers when I was a kid and I too cannot remember that they were ever really the same color. Our 660 I still have was certainly a LITE green and our 770 and 880 Diesels were darker and then in 67 a new 1850 Diesel was different again
