Oliver Super 88 with Perkins's Diesel

Recently I had a guy try to tell and sell me a Super 88 Oliver. He said it has a Perkins Diesel engine. I only thought they were built using Waukesha's. If anyone knows of such a combination let me know. Also I'm looking for a Super 99 GM Diesel tractor.

Maybe someone used the perkins out of a smaller MF like a 35 or 65?

Yeah, but he hasn't seen the motor and I don't think he said how many cylinders it had. Either way if it's a perkins it's not original.

Yep,willing to bet the owner is just mistaken. Probably mistook Waukesha and Perkins.

Well they never came with a Perkins.Not to say that someone didn't didn't install a hundred horse engine in a 45 horse tractor. It would be a pretty amazing feat due to the narrow tub.

Get ready to spend some big bucks for the super 99.Only place I ever see them anymore is ebay.
