I have always used electric tachs, either Murphy or Isspro and hooked them to a sensor in the bellhousing or put a diode in the alternator to drive the tach.

They are not origional but the electric tach do work nice.

Just another option.

I have a angle drive and cable to work with that. just need to know what injection pump you have because different pumps have different size nuts which make the adaptors different.

The B series Cummins tach drive is off the front cover where the injection pump drives. I don't know if the drive ratio would be the same though. WB.
