Are the rod and main bearings really the same on the 60 and 66? I was told they are, just that the oil holes are located in different spots.

Rod bearings on an Oliver 60 and 66 & 77 gas engines are the same. 66 & 77 diesel are same size but different material. Main bearings will need holes drilled in them.A few years ago F-M did list a set of mains for an Oliver 60 yet. More questions? J.

Bore the old sleeves out and put yourself a set of aluminum pistons in there by far the cheapest way to go. No they do not fit. Stroke is longer pin size is different, how many differences you want me to list?
