Oliver 77 Industrial Serial # Location

Where is the serial # located on the Industrial?
I thought it was on the right side of the gear case, but I can't find it anywhere. I would also
like to find a serial # reference so that I can determine the year and how many were made. One source showed there were only 500 made, but I don't
know if that is right. Would anyone know the value
of this tractor? It seems mechanically sound
needs a set of tires, a grill and some minor sheet
metal work. Has heavy loader but no pto. Can a pto unit be added to it? Any info is greatly
appreciated. Thanks, Tim

: Look under dash on left side.If your 77 is set up like my 66Ind. You would have to take off the hyd pump to put on the pto the original hyd sys. didn't have enough oil cap. to operate it.you can e-mail the ser# to me as I have the listing.
