I need more power than my JD3010.

I have considered the idea of looking at other makes. Can one easily find parts for an Oliver? Looking for 1755 through 1855...

Thanks from a potential future Oliver owner

It's six of one and half dozen of the other, but just my opinion,I'd rather have an 1850. Better motor. If you want the best of both worlds,a White 2-85 would give you the 1850 engine paired up with the 1855 transmission and rear end.

Pretty much anything is available and the good part is ten years from now they will still be available when the tractor you buy new today won't be able to get a part most likely.read on another forum where a JD 5320 had parts on it from Spain,Mexico,Italy and Poland.Does anyone really think replacement parts will be available in 10 years from that tractor?

Plenty of parts are still available, and the 55 series is a good one to go with. There are lots of places online that sell Oliver parts, as well as any AGCO dealer who is authorized to sell parts for the Oliver line or any place that can order from Tisco.

There's several good mail order vendors. Are you close to Kokomo? There is a good dealer there (Plevna) that knows Olivers.
