I've seen a few White 2-155's with Cummins 6BT's installed in them. I have one with a bad engine and am wondering if this an easy conversion to do? Does the flywheel from the Herc. fit on the Cummins?

Thanks!

There was an awesome White 170 workhorse 4x4 in the classifieds a couple of weeks ago. For the money, this would be the best all around way to go. It was really priced nice! Wish I could justify a monster like that!

If you do the conversion, would you want to sell the herc?

What is wrong with the herc? I put a 5.9 in our 2-105 this past winter. One awesome tractor now a 190Hp. You will need a flywheel from a 120 white and I think an SAE 4 bellhousing to bolt the over/under to. I is pretty pricey for these two items $1500. You old clutch will actually fit on the new flywheel, but you should replace it since it is apart. We made our own engine mounts. That was the hardest, most time consuming part of the process. It takes some time to get everything switched around. I would opt for an 8.3 which is the route we will probably go for the 2-155.
