After I posted regarding my Super 55 clutch, a co-worker of mine called. He has a gas 550 that is not running but did when he put it in the barn 3 years ago. I believe that part. He thinks points, plugs, etc. and it will fire right up. 1 flat front tire and various oil leaks. He is not sure of the year. I don't need another tractor but if the price is right I might change my mind. What's the right price range for this thing?

None running the price could be as low as $150-500. Running and in good shape with good tires as high as $5000 plus. But if I had the $$ and it wasn't locked up I would probably go as high as $1000 for one. But the S55 and the 550 are ones I would love to have along with a S44 or 440

with all these uncertainties, $1500-$2,000. Running ones seem to be going for about $3-5,000 depending on quality and appearance.
