I found a Oliver tractor and I am a deere man. I do not know what I an lookin at. The speck # is 16-0042 and the serial # is 14172-606. Can any one tell me or help me identify what model and year tractor this is? e-mail me at [email protected] Thank, Brian Nielsen

Serial #14172-606 should be an Oliver 1600-B made in 1964, according to my IMT serial numbers. I believe the other #, 16-0042 confirms this. I have two 1600's with similar # s. I believe the 16- indicates that it is a 1600. Each model had its own mod. #. (example: 1650 s were mod. # 265; 1555 s were mod. # 555). The other 4 # s probably denote how the tractor is equiped. I do not have info. on those #s.
